I had so wanted my faith to move from my head to my heart, and God heard my cry for that and met me. BMWS 23 was such a blessing for me and my wife. We are not the same since attending!
During the week at worship school, I learned things about being a man that I will carry for the rest of my life. They have laid the foundation for the rest of my life, and I will never forget how the Father fathered me here, both through Him, and through other fathers that are in Bethel.
The Lord encountered me in so many ways and I am walking away from this experience as a different person.
I’ve been delivered from the fear of man, increased confidence in my songwriting and singing, increased community, clarity in the things I want to pursue in worship and in the creative arts.

I’ve been having dreams every night since I’ve come to this conference. I am usually not a dreamer (God speaks to me in other ways) but I have been getting dreams, some that are prophetic, since the conference!
I was having some issues with my ears and they were healed. I also had for a while this heaviness and vail of fuzziness over my head that created a lot of problems with my mental health but also made it very hard to hear the Lord; it was broken.
The Lord spoke to me during this weekend and confirmed the calling I felt in my heart to pursue worship.
Because of worship school, my husband not only is open to the prophetic, he is also operating in it and allowing the love of God to flow through him so freely! When we got home, we had a meeting with our young adults group from church and we were able to pray for them and encourage them through the prophetic. I am so happy that The Holy Spirit is free to move in our lives again in these areas!

Should I bring my instrument?
Only if you would like to use it during any of your specific sessions. Acoustic guitars only please! We will provide keyboards and drums for any workshops (unless specified in your class description). You will not need to bring your instrument with you on day 1!
What do I do with my instrument when I’m not using it?
We will have a space for you to store your instrument during sessions, but we will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged gear.
What are the rules around student tickets and registrants under 18?
A student ticket is for high school students ages 14-18 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian & a student release form will be sent and must be signed prior to registration on the start of school.
Parents, guardians & adults over 18 traveling with the student will need to register on a regular ticket.
If you are staying in a host home with a Bethel Family do not expect them to drive you to and from school unless specifically arranged.

Is transportation provided? How do I get around?
You will need to provide your own transportation. We do not provide shuttles or airport pick ups/drop offs. The best thing to do is to link up with other students and share a car rental.
Are Accommodations provided? Where should I stay?

Currently meals will not be provided.
What do I do on the weekend?
Redding has mountains and nearby lakes, so grab a friend and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds the city. Sunday Morning Church Services will be assigned.

Can I save my seat for the entire event?
No. Seating is first come first serve for each session.
How do I choose my breakout classes?
Sign ups for breakouts and tracks will go out via email on June 10th.
Can visitors come (i.e. friends, family, guests)?
We will have session passes available as long as we are not sold out. These will be first come, first served and will be $40/session.
I’ve lost my badge, what do I do?
You can pick up a replacement badge at the info desk in the Hebrews lobby. It is $10 to replace.
Can I get recordings from the classes I couldn't attend?
We will not be recording classes for students so we suggest using the record feature on your phone and capturing the audio of any classes you may want to revisit.
How to watch BMWS online?
Right now we will not be streaming BMWS online. If that changes we’ll let you know.
Are there band sessions this year?
No, there are no band sessions.
How can I connect with other students before school begins?

John-Paul is a versatile musician who has played both percussion and acoustic guitar on many of Bethel Music’s albums including Homecoming, Revival’s In The Air, The Loft Sessions, and For the Sake of the World. He has been playing the acoustic guitar for 25 years, and is passionate about equipping people to feel confident on their instrument while flowing with the Spirit. JP lives in Franklin, TN with his wife Michaela and their two children.

Antonio Marin has been part of Bethel for 8 years, serving as a Bethel Music College Director, musician, and pastor alongside his wife, Alison. With extensive experience and multiple master's degrees under his belt, Antonio’s accolades include Grammy and Dove nominations and awards. Nick Stailey
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Nick Stailey now resides in Redding, where he has been part of Bethel for 13 years. His musical journey began with classical training and transitioned to worship music and keys software during his time at BSSM from 2010 to 2013. Nick's keyboard skills are featured on albums such as "Come Up Here," "Simple," "Homecoming," and "Revival's In The Air." Nick is passionate about all things production and composition and he loves any opportunity to teach people how to use Ableton Live and use keys software for playing keys in worship.

David Whitworth is a drummer and producer with Bethel Music. He has played for various artists outside of the Bethel Music Collective, including Cory Asbury, Bryan & Katie Torwalt, and Brooke Ligertwood. David is now a resident of Nashville, TN with his wife Aly and their sons Duke & Colt.

Joe Volk, originally from Charlotte, NC, now resides in Nashville, TN, where he's thrived as a professional musician and entrepreneur for 15 years. Over a decade in the field has seen him launch several music-related ventures, blending his passion for music with a mind for business. Alongside his career, he cherishes family life with his wife, Jessa, and their children, Beckham and Lennon.

Jonathan Lee
Musician and MD, Jonathan Lee, cares deeply about helping and equipping musicians in the church. Jonathan’s musical journey began early with classical piano and violin lessons in first grade, which led to a lifelong commitment to music, and most recently playing electric guitar with Bethel. He has been touring with Bethel Music since 2017, and has contributed on several albums including “Victory“, “Revivals in the air”, “ Homecoming”, “Come Up Here”. Adam Kiser lives in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife Charley and son Shepherd. He graduated from the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in 2014 and served at Bethel Church as a bass player and MD. He is passionate about music, his family, and the local church. Mat Ogden
Mat Ogden is a multi-instrumentalist, writer, producer, and artist. Currently residing in Phoenix, AZ, Mat and his wife Haley have two daughters, Delaney and Juliette. Since 2013, Mat has been an integral part of Bethel, his journey eventually taking him on the road with Bethel Music as bassist and MD as well as playing on and co-producing several albums such as the Dove Award-nominated album, “Homecoming”. Mat is deeply passionate about becoming more Christlike and encouraging others to deepen their faith in Him.

David has been a part of the Bethel Music Band since 2015 and has been playing music in the church and professionally for over 15 years. He is a musician, audio engineer, producer, and content creator with extensive knowledge and skill in music and audio production. David Puleo lives in Redding CA with his wife Jessi and 4 children Ethan, Noah, Abbi, and Liam. He originally lived in Charlotte NC, and moved to Redding in 2017 to get his kids involved in Bethel Young Saints. He serves as a guitar player for Bethel Church as well as a team Pastor for the local worship community. He has been playing guitar, and working on guitars for over 20 years. He started his business “Puleo Guitars” in 2016. It began with him working on and maintaining guitars for clients, and expanded into building guitars as well. Other experience includes building pedalboards and systems for GoodWood Audio as well as touring with Bethel Music as both a guitar tech and guitar player.

Hayley Braun
Hayley Braun is an Overseer of the 3rd Year Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry Program in Redding, California. Born and raised in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Hayley moved to Redding to attend BSSM in 2008, where she met her husband, Ryan. Growing up in the church, Hayley started serving in many different spheres of the church at a young age and finding her passion – serving the Bride of Christ. She has a deep desire to see the people of God walk in true freedom, living a life liberated by the gospel and in connection with one another. Hayley and her family burn for revival and long to see the nations encounter God in a real and transformational way. Prior to being asked to pioneer the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry Online, Hayley spent 10 years leading in Bethel’s Second Year School of Supernatural Ministry. Hayley and Ryan have three children – Aiden, Liberty, and Ash and love to spend quality time at home or traveling together as a family and with their community.

Luke Hendrickson
A gifted audio engineer, Luke Hendrickson has called Bethel home for the past 13 years. Luke's journey began as a piano and keyboard player before transitioning into music production. He now works almost exclusively mixing audio and has been instrumental in developing methods to mix live broadcast audio. Luke's passion lies in helping make Jesus' name known around the earth through working on songs that bring Him glory. Beyond the board, Luke finds fulfillment in his faith, and his wife, Sarah, as well as making music, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

Saara Taina
Saara Taina was born in Finland and has been teaching worship dance for more than 20 years on five continents. She was a student in the School of Worship in Jerusalem, Israel and studied dance in Sydney, Australia. She has an Advanced Diploma of Creative Arts in Christian Ministry, specializing in Contemporary Dance. Saara is a commissioned and licensed Dance Pastor by Bethel Church of Redding, CA and she has been pastoring the dancers in the Bethel Healing Rooms and Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry for over 10 years. Saara travels extensively and her passion is to equip the global Bride of Christ to worship Jesus with everything She is, without fear or shame, and to release the Kingdom of Heaven through dance and creativity. Saara is the author of Encountering God Through Dance, Dance Pastor and Dance Abundance. She also has a Podcast named Undefeated.

Blake Citro lives in Redding, California with his wife Olivia and sons Hartford and Graham. He currently serves as the Head of Events at Bethel Music, and Director of Production. Gabe Valenzula
Gabe Valenzuela is the Senior Overseer of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) Second Year. He’s previously served as a Youth Pastor at Bethel Church, Redding and as a Revival Group Pastor. Through his father’s heart, pastoral gifting, and leadership experience, Gabe brings great strength and vision to the BSSM environment. Along with his staff team, Gabe mentors, leads, and develops students to be able to transform their God-given spheres of influence, teaching them how to successfully steward their lives and manage higher levels of responsibilities as servant leaders. While Gabe loves leading the Second Year program, he considers his family to be the most valuable aspect of his life. He lives in Redding, California, with his wife, Leah, and their four beautiful children.

Jamila Page
Jamila is a first-generation American, born to proud Panamanian (Central American) parents. She and her husband, Richard, have been married for 20 years and have four beautiful children: Andrew (and Lindsay, his wife), Jazmyn, Joy, and Rachel. Jamila was called into prophetic ministry shortly after dedicating her life to the Lord in 2001. For over 20 years, Jamila has since enjoyed the privilege of leading youth, women’s, discipleship, and worship ministries as a resident and itinerant prophetic voice. She is a whole-hearted worshiper, speaker, and teacher. In addition to ministry leadership, Jamila has a professional background in Human Resources Management, Professional Development, and Organizational Leadership.

Luke Manwaring, currently based in Redding, CA, serves as a Video Director at Bethel. His journey into video directing started at the early age of 19, and he notably contributed to the success of projects like "Come Up Here." For the past 16 years, Luke's passion has been deeply rooted in capturing music through the lens of a camera. This passion has grown exponentially over time, fueling his dedication to what he does. In his personal life, Luke finds joy and support in his relationships with his wife Larissa, and their daughter Jane.

Jonah Thompson
Born and raised in Northern California, Jonah Thompson has been mixing audio for Bethel for the past 12 years. As front of house engineer, he’s worked with artists like Brandon Lake, Phil Wickham, Amanda Cook, Bethel Music, and more. His forte lies in the versatility to mix diverse events across various environments, spanning stadiums, arenas, theaters, and churches. Outside of the booth, Jonah enjoys outdoor activities like dirt biking, boating, and exploring new places.

In his role as creative director, Christian Ostrum is inspired to make things that matter. Christian started his career in creative making bootleg punk t-shirts when he was 13 and is now proud to lead and be part of a team of creatives who are passionate about serving the church and stewarding their gifts. Christian and his wife Taylor currently live in Franklin, TN, with their children, Carpenter and Paloma.

Richard Gordon was raised in South Africa where he married his beautiful wife, Libby, and completed his BSc in Computer Engineering and MA in Electronic Engineering. He has had the privilege of working alongside some of the world’s best tech companies. Richard and his wife pastor at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM). Richard is also the Revival Group pastor over Bethel School of Technology. His dream is to raise up world-changers and influencers like Daniel who will shape and shift culture, encountering and ushering in the presence of God wherever they go. He comes alive, igniting the potential in people around him and seeing the Glory of God move across the earth!

Libby Gordon
Libby is devoted to a life of intimacy with God. After a radical encounter with God as a teenager, she entered ministry at nineteen years old. Libby and her husband, Richard, along with their children, Moses and Ella, have chosen a model of ministry that they recognized in Jesus – vulnerability and moving in power are inseparable. This lifestyle has sparked and sustains the miraculous in their lives and those they lead. Raised in South Africa, working in church, academia, and business realms, they moved to Redding, CA. Libby and Richard were honored to both receive the M. Earl Johnson award during their time at BSSM. Libby’s heart is to raise up a generation who make known the reality of God in every life and land.

Dann Farrelly has been on staff at Bethel Church, Redding since 1991. Dann is the Lead Pastor of Bethel Church, Redding and the Dean of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM). He is a graduate of Simpson College and holds a MA in Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. Dann is uniquely gifted to bring rich insights from the Word of God with wit, humor, and great anointing. Often, you can find his desk covered in books. Dann is married to Christie, and they have three children.

Brian Johnson is a co-founder of Bethel Music and Bethel Music Worship School, headquartered in Redding, California. He is also a musician, songwriter, singer, speaker, and author. Brian has been an executive producer and songwriter for over 16 albums by Bethel Music and has written and been a part of songs such as “Holy Forever”, “Hymn of Heaven”, “No Longer Slaves”, “Ever Be”, and “God I Look to You” - anthem songs that have been sung by the global church. Brian authored his first book, When God Becomes Real, in 2019 about his journey out of a 6-month nervous breakdown. Brian and his wife Jenn reside in Redding, California, with their five wonderful children, Haley, Téa, Braden, Ryder Moses, and Malachi Judah.

Jenn Johnson is a co-founder and President of Bethel Music and Bethel Music Worship School, headquartered in Redding, California. She’s also a musician, songwriter, singer, speaker and author. Jenn has been an integral part of 17 albums by Bethel Music that have influenced the culture of worship across the global church. Jenn has written and been a part of several anthems sung by the global church such as “Goodness of God”, “You’re Gonna Be OK”, and “God I Look to You”. She’s the founder of “Lovely by Jenn Johnson,” a lifestyle brand intended to inspire, equip and engage women of all ages to thrive, and has written her first book, All Things Lovely, which was released in November 2021. Jenn and Brian reside in Redding, California, with their five wonderful children, Haley, Téa, Braden, Ryder Moses, and Malachi Judah.

Kristene DiMarco
Kristene DiMarco is a worship leader and songwriter at Bethel Church and with Bethel Music. Kristene’s newest album, The Field (2022) was born out of a vulnerable season she had with the Lord in the summer of 2020. The Field invites listeners to dig deep and sit with God in the uncomfortable and in the mystery; it speaks to our most basic need: simply being with our Creator and learning who He is. She is known for her song “It Is Well” featured on Bethel Music’s You Make Me Brave (2014), as well as on Christian radio stations around the U.S. Kristene is featured on several Bethel Music albums in addition to her other solo albums Where His Light Was (2017), Mighty (2015), Safe Place (2012) and Those Who Dream (2008). Kristene enjoys life in Redding, California with her husband Jordan and their two children Lorelai and Nico.

John Wilds is a worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist with a heart to see the world encounter the love and presence of Jesus. John joined the Bethel Music Collective in 2021 and made his collective album debut with “Forever Be Praised” on the album Simple (2022). Most recently he appeared on Come Up Here (2023) with Bethany Wohrle leading “Our King Jesus (Holy).” He and his wife, Natalie, currently reside in Daytona Beach, FL with their three children.

Emmy Rose
Emmy Rose is a worship leader and songwriter with Bethel Music who can be found singing at Bethel Church services and touring with the collective. Emmy is best known for her features on Bethel Music’s Simple (2022) album leading “Tend”, Homecoming (2021) album “Standing In Miracles” and VICTORY (2019) album “Promises.” At the core of Emmy is her desire to yield to the voice of God, believing that He always writes a better story. Josh Baldwin
Josh Baldwin is a songwriter and worship leader who joined the Bethel Music Collective in 2014. Josh is known for his songs “Praises”, featured on Bethel Music’s Have it All, “You Deserve It All”, from his solo project Rivers, and “Stand in Your Love”, a song featured on Bethel Music’s album VICTORY (2019) which reached #2 on the Christian Billboard charts. His latest album, Where the Glory Is (2022), is a reflection of his journey with the Lord and a return to the roots of pure worship. This album’s lead single, “There Is Freedom”, reached No. 21 on the Billboard Hot Christian Adult Contemporary chart and No. 30 on the Hot Christian Songs chart. He has appeared on numerous Bethel Music albums including VICTORY (2019), Peace (2020), Homecoming (2021), and most recently on Come Up Here (2023) with his song “Time and Time Again”.

Edward Rivera
Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Edward Rivera is the newest member of the Bethel Music Collective. He first began performing in school at 16 and started to lead worship at 17 after being called to speak to the marginalized, the prodigals, and the unreached. After graduating high school, Rivera joined a traveling worship choir through LABI and was eventually invited to sing background vocals for artists on tour. This kicked off a six-year long career before leading as an artist himself. Following an extensive season of touring with worship artists such as Christine D'Clario, Barak, and Maverick City Música. Rivera found his home with Bethel Music in 2021. His debut single, “Nothing Else,” is a reminder to not lose focus on what really matters in this world, the message and salvation of Jesus. Rivera’s hope is to guide others, especially those within the entertainment industry, back to the church by spreading the good news through music.

David Funk
Hailing from North Georgia, David Funk became a member of the Bethel Music Collective in 2020. He grew up watching his father play piano on worship teams at their local church and started playing guitar himself at a young age. He began leading worship in high school. David thrives in an environment where everyone is passionately worshiping Jesus. His dream is to lead people into the presence of God, where every person present is solely focused on Him.

Zahriya Zachary
Born and raised in Spring, Texas, Zahriya Zachary didn’t come from a musical family, but her love of music began at the early age of six while learning to play the piano. She began leading worship when she was a freshman in college after the Lord clearly spoke to her and told her that it was time. Throughout her time in college, she began volunteering on her church’s worship team while the Lord was teaching her more about what it means to have a worshiper’s heart. Zahriya believes that worship is the place where we belong and her heart is that people will be led to Jesus through her.

Hannah McClure is a worship leader and songwriter, with her husband Paul, at Bethel Church and with Bethel Music. Bethany Wohrle
Bethany Wohrle joined Bethel Music Collective in 2018 when she made her debut with 2018’s “Living Hope,” a single written by Phil Wickham and Brian Johnson. She’s also featured on Bethel Music’s Peace, Vol. II (2021) album, singing “Another in the Fire”, Homecoming (2021) singing “All Hail King Jesus”, Revival’s In The Air (2020) singing “Prepare the Way” with Dante Bowe, Victory (2019) singing “Victory is Yours”, and Bethel Music En Español (2019) singing “Mi Esperanza Está en Jesús”. Most recently, she appears on Come Up Here (2023) joining John Wilds on “Our King Jesus (Holy)”. Bethany currently leads worship at Renew Life Church in Lubbock, Texas, where she lives with her husband, Christopher. The couple is passionate about seeing local worship teams thrive and seeing people encounter God in a way that changes their entire way of living.

Ben is the Prophetic Ministries Director at Bethel Church, Redding where he and his wife, Heather Armstrong, serve on the Senior Leadership Team. Through teaching and preaching, Ben equips people with the skills and tools they need to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth. He has a passion to see individuals fully equipped in living a prophetic lifestyle, as well as walking in the revelatory gifts. Ben has a passion for such things such as the pursuit of God’s presence, seeing worship reach new heavenly realms, dreams and interpretation, healing, and living a prophetic lifestyle. They have three amazing children; Conner, Kira, and Madison. Ben, Heather, and their children are passionate about living the kingdom and bringing the supernatural in their family life and equipping others to do the same.

Bill is a fifth-generation pastor with a rich heritage in the Holy Spirit. The present move of God has brought Bill into a deeper understanding of the phrase “on earth as it is in heaven.” Bill and the Bethel Church family have taken on this theme for life and ministry, where healing and miracles are normal. Bill teaches that we owe the world an encounter with God and a gospel without power is not the gospel Jesus preached. Bill is co-founder of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM).
